The Workshop Experience
Musicfest now offers an OPTIONAL educational experience beyond the traditional competition format. Our new format allows you and your students to experience an hour of “quality time” with members of our nationally recognized adjudication panel.
We recognize some of the challenges facing a director traveling out of state, trying to meet “required” educational guidelines with members missing due to financial or scheduling conflicts. This new format will provide a “Superior” educational experience without the pressure of competition.

Advantages over Traditional Competition Festival
- Your choice of day and time during Festival weekend*
- Your choice of clinicians from weekend panel*
- Your choice of music to perform or study
- Relaxed atmosphere in a non-threatening environment, no pressure to win “superior” ratings or trophies
- One on One contact for your students with a distinguished clinician from a major University
- No need to pack concert uniforms or performance attire
- No additional Entry Fees
- Educational experience without the added pressure to your trip
- Positive learning experience for those in attendance, weather your whole ensemble makes the trip or not. You will not be at a disadvantage if you do not have your entire ensemble in attendance
