Choral Music Requirements
- All Choirs are required to perform Three (and only 3)
compositions. No specific music list is required.
- The Maximum “on-stage” time is 30 Minutes.
This includes entry, set-up, on-stage warm-up, sound check,
performance, clinic, and exit.
- A pre-performance warm-up room will be provided 30 minutes
prior to your performance time. This time includes entering,
warm-up and exiting.
- Musicfest Orlando will provide the following equipment
for on-stage performance:
Concert Grand Piano, 3-Step Choral Risers (8 max) and Sound
Shell.
A Sound System with 6 microphones & stage monitor will
be available for Show & Jazz choirs.
- Directors must provide three scores with measures numbered
for each selection performed. Photo copies are not permitted
without a note from the publisher.
- Show & Jazz Choirs may perform a medley of tunes
and do not have to furnish scores. May use recorded background
music or live instrumental accompaniment. A cassette and
CD player will be provided for the performance, but not
in the warm-up area. ALL Groups using a CD or Tape with
their performance are required to do a sound check.
